I
"The wreckage of the
ancient tertiary " flora so the rate is defined (Taxus
baccata). You/he/she can live up to two thousand years. Also
called tree of the death in how much it results toxic in
every part of his.
In the pastures in Sicily you/he/she is banished because
different animals die after having ingested him/it in small
quantity. In nature it easily confuses him with a fir, to
motive for his/her pyramidal form even if on the southern
mountain it grows bushy and you/they can be found exemplary
ancient (Fig. 1-2).

dry firewood after one year

The dead parts are
been created on the whole tree: on the trunk from
the lower part upward, with thin wood parts as
blades really to underline the ancientness of the
tree, cracks and jin, also on the branches, which
evoke the effect of the atmospheric events (fig9).
With this article I would like to underline that
according to me to create a bonsai simply is not
alone to invent something, but it is a po to draw,
to carve " on the tree as graffiti what we have
succeeded in learning from the nature. (fig. 10).
I have begun as it is of usual to clean the whole plant
so that tirar out how much more details, also those that
at first sight could seem me meaningless, but that they
served me to decide the type of tree and the habitat
that I could imagine for the workmanship of the dry
firewood (fig4-5. With the chalk I have marked on the
wood the biggest parts to eliminate. With an electric
cutter I have provveduto to dig the wood and to create
the bases for a trunk cable (Sabamiki). In fact the rest
and therefore the finishing touch and the thing most
important the particular ones, have created them to hand
with the aid of gouges and chisels which allow to
engrave with precision the effects of naturalness that
you/they are imagined (fig.6-7-8).

The plant after the cleaning

This rate (Taxus baccata)
you/he/she has been found in a hatchery, in full
abandonment, a truth is really vegetable wreckage. It
was a piece of meaningless wood (Fig. 3). but someone
has said: "The artist is he who you/he/she creates a
sunset there where there is not ", perhaps for this I
purchased him/it.

plants before the cleaning.
Everything had
to be builds the dry firewood that had working. But I
already knew that only the technique would not have been
enough for to create, if first there was not that strength
and great desire to want to firmly fix my feelings in that
material. In fact, as I have always sustained, to create a
bonsai needs to snatch to gain with the mind and the heart
the nature and his/her creations of extraordinary beauty.
The trees with parts of dead firewood grow in mountain and
on the coasts where the events and the continuous whims of
the nature occur more frequent: the effect of the radiant
heat, of the wind, of the snow and of other events they
create on the trees what the bonsaistis call: Shari, Jin,
Sabamiki, conferring so at the same time him dramatic and
austerity.
